      Eligibility Criteria for Calcutta High Court DEO and Other Posts


      Educational Qualifications:


      Data Entry Operator -

      (i) Must have passed Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of 

      Secondary Education or its equivalent from a Government recognized Council or Board or Institution; and 

      (ii) Must have passed one year Diploma in Computer Application from recognized institution; 

      and

      (iii) Must possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour.

      System Analyst (Programming):

      (i) Must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or a bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a Master’s Degree in Computer Application from a recognized University or its equivalent qualification; and 

      (ii) Must possess a minimum five years’ working experience in the field of programming/software development in any Public Sector Undertaking or Government or statutory body or in any Company, registered under the Companies Act.


      Senior Programmer:

      (i) Must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a Master’s Degree in Computer Application from a recognized University or its equivalent qualification; and 

      (ii) Must possess a ten years’ working experience in the field of programming/software package customization with special knowledge in 

      Operating System (Windows, Linux, MaC, OS, RDBMS like ORACLE, SQL, Server etc.) as well as working experience in any Public Sector Undertaking or Government or statutory body or in any Company, registered under Companies Act. Eligible System Analyst (Programming) may also apply for this post;


      System Manager:

      (i) Must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or a bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a Master’s Degree in Computer Application from a recognized University or its equivalent qualification; and 

      (ii) Must possess a ten years’ working experience in the field of programming/software package customization with special knowledge in Operating System (Windows, Linux, MaC, OS, RDBMS like ORACLE, SQL, Server etc.) in any Public Sector Undertaking or Government or statutory body or in any Company, registered under Companies Act. Eligible System Analyst (Programming) may also apply for this post;


      Salary

      • Data Entry Operator: Pay Scale: 22700- 58,500/-
      • System Analyst (Programming): 56,100 - 1,44,300/-
      • Senior Programmer: 67,300 - 1,73,200/-
      • System Manager: 67,300/- 1,73,200/-


      Age Limit (As on 01/01/2021)

      • Data Entry Operator: 18 to 40 years
      • System Analyst (Programming): 26 to 40 years
      • Senior Programmer: 31 to 45 years
      • System Manager: 31 to 45 years
      • Age relaxation for reserved candidates as per government rules (OBC - 3 years and SC / ST - 5 years)
